Refund Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026. Motionstash is a brand of Speakwise GmbH. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. This is a translation for your information; the German version prevails.
Our refund policy
This policy is voluntary, goes beyond the law and applies to consumers and businesses. It does not limit the statutory right of withdrawal or your rights for defects.
First subscriptionFull refund within 14 days of your first purchase of a plan, if you have not made a paid video in that time.
RenewalsFull refund of a monthly renewal if you ask within 48 hours of the charge and have not used any credits in the new period. The subscription then ends.
Credit packsFull refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as no credit from the pack has been used.
Our errorsIf a step fails for a reason on our side, it costs no credits. Credits already deducted are restored.
Beyond this, we do not refund partial periods or used credits, unless the law requires it. After you cancel, the paid period stays usable.
How to request a refund
Email hallo@speakwise.agency from the email address of your account and, if you have it, include the order number from your Lemon Squeezy receipt. We usually answer within two business days. Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, pays the amount back to the original payment method; depending on your bank and payment method the credit takes a few business days. The credits of a refunded purchase are removed.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Speakwise GmbH, Kollage 3, 49170 Hagen a.T.W., Germany, phone +49 5401 1523001, email hallo@speakwise.agency, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. The reimbursement is carried out on our behalf by Lemon Squeezy, through which you paid.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
For a contract for the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium (such as the videos made with credits), the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performance after you expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal when performance begins, and we provided you with a confirmation of the contract including this consent (§ 356 (5) BGB).
For a contract for services (such as the subscription), the right of withdrawal expires once we have fully performed the service, if before performance began you expressly agreed and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal on full performance (§ 356 (4) BGB).
Before you buy, we ask you expressly for this consent and acknowledgement. Without it, we begin performance only after the withdrawal period ends. With it, you can use the service right away.
