Sticker Accent Captions

Everything below can be changed without touching the animation. Hand the list to an agent, or edit the values at the bottom of the component file.

  Paste an SRT or WebVTT file's text. When it has cues it replaces `words`. Words inside a cue share its time by length, so for exact timing use `words`. A transcript longer than the clip plays as far as the clip runs; lengthen the clip to show all of it.

  Exact per-word timings in seconds, as any transcription tool exports them. Each word lands on its own start. A full stop, question mark or a pause of more than 0.6 s always starts a new screen.

• Max words

  maxWords · number

  How many words share a screen. Three is the classic short-form rhythm; one word at a time is punchier and leaves the most room for the stickers.

• Emphasis

  emphasis · array

  Words set in a deep shade of the accent colour, dark enough to read at 4.5:1 or better, inside their white outline. Matched case-insensitively with punctuation ignored, so "46" also catches "46.". Numbers and prices are the usual choice.

• Stickers

  stickers · array

  Keyword and sticker pairs. Every time a listed word is said, its sticker pops beside it and stays until the caption changes. One per screen reads best; the stickers are drawn in the file, so they render the same everywhere.

• Position

  position · "lower" | "center" | "upper"

  Where the caption sits. `lower` stays above the platform's bottom row of buttons and captions, `center` covers the middle of the frame, `upper` stays under the top bar. At 9:16 all three keep clear of the like and share column on the right.

• Stroke

  stroke · number

  Thickness of the white die-cut outline around each word, as a fraction of the type size. 0.08 is a chunky vinyl sticker; 0 leaves bare ink, which only holds over a calm, light shot.

• Shadow

  shadow · boolean

  A soft drop shadow under the words and stickers. It is what lifts a white outline off a white bed or a bright window, so leave it on unless your footage is dark.

• Stage

  stage · boolean

  Draw the stand-in shot, a bright bedroom corner with a window, a plant and a bed, so the captions can be judged over real tone. It is a demo backing, not part of the captions: switch it off when you lay them over your own video.

• Ground

  ground · boolean

  Paint a plain brand ground behind the captions when the stand-in is off. Off by default: with the stand-in off as well, the captions render on a transparent background and drop straight onto your own footage.

• Brand

  brand · string

  Brand token id, one of the keys of BRANDS. The words take the brand's darkest colour and the stickers its accents, so any brand works; the light ones suit this look best.
