Kinetic type is text that carries the shot on its own — no product, no chart, no footage behind it. These seven components animate the words themselves: a headline that assembles per word, a counter that rolls to a figure, a split-flap board, a decode scramble, a typewriter caret, a highlight that sweeps under a phrase, and stacked beats that trade one line for the next.
Reach for kinetic type when the sentence is the content: an opening claim, a statistic, a quote, a hook at the top of a vertical cut. Because the type is drawn from code rather than composited, the same component renders legibly at 1080p and at 4K without re-tuning sizes.
