  sentence · string

  The full sentence, punctuation included. Eight to sixteen words reads best; longer drops the type size to keep it inside three lines.

• Emphasis *

  emphasis · string

  The phrase inside `sentence` to mark. Must appear in it (matched case-insensitively, first occurrence); if it does not, the sentence renders unmarked. Keep it to two to four words. It is held on one line as an unbreakable unit so the marker stays a single clean shape.

• Marker

  marker · "block" | "underline" | "box"

  How the phrase is marked. 'block' is a solid accent slab behind the words and inverts their ink as it passes, the strongest and the default. 'underline' is a thick highlighter bar under the baseline, quieter and safe over long phrases. 'box' is a hand-drawn rounded outline drawn on with an SVG path, for an annotated, marked-up-by-a-human feel.

• Align

  align · "left" | "center"

  Text alignment. 'left' composes against a margin rule and is the editorial default; 'center' drops the rule and suits 1:1 and title-card use.
