A speaker plate composed for 9:16, seated above the caption band and clear of the action rail, with the name resolving out of defocus

This is the format it was composed for. Switch above to see it lay itself out for another — same animation, re-arranged for the frame.
Everything below can be changed without touching the animation. Hand the list to an agent, or edit the values at the bottom of the component file.
The speaker's name, set in the brand's display serif. Two words is the shape this is drawn for; longer names step down a size and wrap.
now: Naomi Adeyemi
Job title or credential, one short line. Written in sentence case here and set in tracked uppercase sans, which is the broadcast convention.
now: Semiconductor Analyst
The line that earns the title — years on the beat, the paper they wrote, where they were when it happened. One sentence, up to about ninety characters. Omit for a plain name-and-role plate.
now: Twelve years inside the fabs — Hsinchu, Dresden, Hillsboro
Percent of the frame height reserved at the bottom for platform captions, title and sound credit. 20 clears Shorts and Reels; raise to about 26 if the video carries a pinned comment or a long title.
now: 20
Percent of the frame width reserved on the right for the like/comment/share column. 18 clears all three platforms; drop to 0 when the export is for a website or a paid placement with no UI over it.
now: 18
Draw the two reserved edges as hairlines with a small legend, the way a page proof shows its trim. Leave them on while you are placing the plate against real footage; turn them off for the delivered cut.
now: true
Strength of the wash pulled up from the bottom, as a percent. This is what holds the type legible over moving footage — drop it toward 40 over a calm, even shot, raise it over anything busy.
now: 82
'portrait' puts a heavily defocused stand-in subject behind the plate so you can judge legibility the way it will actually be seen. 'plain' leaves the brand ground bare, which is what you want when compositing this over your own footage.
now: portrait
Brand token id — one of the keys of BRANDS. The display serif is what makes this plate read as a byline rather than a caption, so the serif brands (press, field) suit it best.

No Tailwind, no CSS, no asset files. Inline styles only.
I need a speaker ID for vertical video and every lower third I can find is 16:9. In a Short the bottom fifth is gone to the auto-captions and the right edge is gone to the like and share column, so the plate has to live in the box that is left and both of those numbers need to be adjustable because they change per platform. Name in a serif, role under it in tracked uppercase sans, a hairline between them, and one line under that saying why this person is worth listening to. Show me the two reserved edges as faint printed marks so I can see the plate is actually clear of them, and put a defocused person behind it so I can tell whether the copy is still readable over real footage.
