A persistent channel bug — a cut-corner monogram and a handle held at low opacity in a frame corner while the shot moves underneath

This is the format it was composed for. Switch above to see it lay itself out for another — same animation, re-arranged for the frame.
Everything below can be changed without touching the animation. Hand the list to an agent, or edit the values at the bottom of the component file.
The initials inside the enclosure. One to three characters — two is the classic monogram and the size steps down for three. Longer strings are cut, because a word in a small box is not a monogram.

The channel handle beside the mark, set as you type it. Leave it empty for the enclosure on its own, which is what you want once an audience already knows the mark.

A second, smaller line under the handle — an establishment year, a city, a series name. It is what turns a monogram and an address into a maker's mark, and it is the one place a specific belongs. Empty drops it.

Which corner it occupies. Top-right by default: the bottom-right is taken by YouTube's own watermark, the bottom edge by the scrubber, and the top-left by the player's title. The enclosure's cut corner follows this.
now: top-right
Distance from both frame edges, as a fraction of the shorter side. The default sits comfortably inside the title-safe area; push it in if your player's chrome crowds the corner.

How hard the mark is inked once it has arrived. Two thirds is the honest setting for footage you want watched; below about 0.35 you are relying on the shadows alone and over bright detail it will disappear.

Which way round the mark is. `auto` takes the brand's own ink. Force `light` or `dark` when your footage is consistently one or the other — it picks the lightest or darkest token the brand already has, and the halo behind it always flips to the opposite.

Size of the lockup. The corner margin does not scale with it — that belongs to the frame, not to the mark.

Draw the stand-in shot behind the mark — a dark room with a window and a bench, so the watermark can be judged over real tone instead of over black. It is a demo backing and not part of the mark: switch it off when you burn this over your own video.

Paint a plain brand ground behind the mark. Off by default — this is an overlay, so with the stand-in off as well it renders on a clean alpha channel and drops straight onto your own footage.

I want the little channel logo that sits in the corner of a video the whole way through — my initials in a small mark, with my handle next to it and the year I started underneath, top right, at about two thirds opacity. It has to be readable when the shot is a bright window and when it's a dark room, but it must never pull attention off what I'm filming, so no box behind it and no bright colour. Fade it in once at the start and then just leave it there. Show it over something that looks like real footage so I can tell whether it works, and let me switch that off and move it to another corner when I burn it over my own video.
